We were able to talked to him about Black Contractors Owners and Executives, being at the forefront of construction opportunities in this region and our advocacy efforts to make sure that people that looked like us …are a before thought and not an after thought!

We discussed the fact that we have a strong Board of Directors that believe in and push the Mission and Vision of BCOE, Our Membership is growing and we are cultivating great alliances where collectively we can create great things here in the City that will ultimately add to the “Soul of Chicago”the fact that we have a strong Board of Directors that believe in and push the Mission and Vision of BCOE, that our Membership is growing and that we are cultivating great alliances and collectively we can create great things here in the City that will ultimately add to the “Soul of Chicago”

We also talked about creating opportunities in construction for our Youth through mentorship and apprenticeship programs.
